New Documentary will Explore the Life and Legacy of the Wrestling Legend
HBO are set to release a new feature-length documentary around the late pro wrestler Andre The Giant.
The world-famous wrestler, who died in 1993, stood at 7 foot 4 inches, caused by medical gigantism, and weighed 520 pounds. He wrestled professionally at the highest level from the early 1970s until shortly before his death.
The trailer, which can you watch below, features many prominent figures from the world of professional wrestling, including Hulk Hogan and WWE kingpin Vince McMahon, with whom he worked closely throughout his lengthy career.
It appears that the documentary will deal with the giant’s issues around alcoholism and other personal struggles, as well as his impact on the world of wrestling and professional sport at large.

The documentary will air on HBO on April 10, 2018.
